David Block is more than a wonderful teacher - he is an inspiration. With humor and patience, David has been able to guide me to a better understanding of kung fu. My form practice, application of movement and overall skill level improves tremendously with every one of David's classes.

Anyone would be lucky for a chance to study with Sifu David. He's a wonderful teacher who gives each student exactly what's needed for their next step. Because he has studied kung fu, tai chi, yoga and more so deeply, he brings an unusual understanding of the nuances of each move, as well as a high level overview of martial arts. I enjoy just watching his precision and smoothness. And his delicious sense of humor is second to none.
